As we said earlier, this year's Taste of Georgetown looks to be the biggest one yet. With that, let's talk about some of the participating restaurants to watch for. (Click the hyperlink above for original story with line up.) This will be the first time Root participates. Their dishes are extravagant and the flavors match the presentation. If you have had their food at the Front Street restaurant, you know you'll be in for a treat. The same is to be said regarding Manor House Restaurant at Wedgefield. The eatery competed in a shrimp and grits cook off earlier this year and wowed those in attendance with the flavors. They'll be on their game at the event when they strive to leave all with an unforgettable taste. Perennial favorites Rustic Table and Alfresco Georgetown Bistro will be making sure they live up to their reputation in providing a great dish with awesome flavors. Alfresco Georgetown Bistro is won the tasting award in 2017. And you can't go without mentioning The River Room. Since 1984, the Front Street restaurant has been satisfying locals and tourists alike with their seafood and dessert offerings. It doesn't hurt to have a great view of the harbor either. They'll be presenting a great tasting for sure and lines will long as they were last year for it. A new sweet tasting this year will come from Paradice Homemade Ice Cream. Consistency in flavor and taste will follow from their locations in Pawleys Island and Litchfield to the Harborwalk, that's for sure. Now, it's your turn. Comment below on who you are looking forward to having a taste from. |
