Chef Danny Smith takes on seafood challenge at World Food Championships October 16-20 in Dallas, Texas
The practice tastings are done. The prep is complete. The hype is built.
And Chef Danny Smith is still taking it all in.
He's cooking in the seafood category at this year's World Food Championships.
Smith, chef at Frank's and Frank's Outback in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, recently completed a demo on WPDE ABC 15's Amanda Live and a sit-down interview with the station to discuss his journey getting to Dallas, Texas.
Now, Smith and his sous chef Charles (Charlie) Bardo of R'Way Pizza & Family Tavern in Litchfield, South Carolina, will make the drive to Dallas Monday.
With them will be their culinary passion, childhood awe and competitive spirits. They'll also be around some great chefs cooks, too, exposing them to our culinary adventure tastes.
