Georgetown Foodland, in efforts to stay cutting edge, has created a Facebook group just for the county's restaurant owners.
The intention of the closed group is to set a virtual meeting place via social media for owners to communicate about their business, share menu ideas, concerns over costs, etc. all while being comfortable doing so. It's a foundation to build upon with our restaurants uniting for a common purpose: to see all of us succeed! Owners of Georgetown County restaurants are urged to join this group and build relationships with fellow owners. Georgetown Foodland's Jamie Sanderson says, "I think the beauty of Georgetown's restaurant industry is on the cusp of greatness. Why not have our eateries' owners join in a mixing bowl that just could very well produce some of the finest eats around the state, if not the country. Their collaboration efforts could create a well-oiled machine!" The group can be found by clicking the button below. You have to be a restaurant owner in Georgetown County. For five years, Georgetown Foodland has been rigorously and tirelessly supporting the county's restaurants. Whether it be sharing photos, taking photos, helping maintain websites and social media, Georgetown Foodland has been there. For free.
Now, a public Facebook group has been created for others to support our restaurants while showing members their dishes they've enjoyed when eating out. The goal is to expand Georgetown Foodland's efforts in marketing our restaurants beyond the county and state. Please, join this group and take some photos of the good eats Georgetown has to offer! Click the button below! It didn't take long for another restaurant to fill the space left when Belle Isle Marina Bar and Grill closed. Milligan's at Belle Isle is owned by David Milligan, who jumped at the opportunity to present a unique menu to customers hoping they'd not have to wait long for another eatery at the marina. David is a down-to-earth guy. He exemplifies a personable approach to patrons and pays attention to detail. His chef, Justin, has trained and cooked around the world. And with fresh ingredients from Murrells Inlet, Charleston and Georgetown, they want people to know they are locals supporting locals and care about what goes into their dishes. Take a look below at the menu and some of what is offered. You will thank yourself repeatedly for trying this place! Tell David and Justin we sent you! Please consider joining us in Charleston on Thursday July 27th for a full day workshop for restaurant owners, chefs and managers.
Darren Denington, founder of Service with Style Hospitality Group, and David Scott Peters, founder of TheRestaurantExpert.com, present a jam-packed day teaching you how to drive more sales in your restaurant by using the right systems, strong leadership and the perfect hospitality team.
