This was the first restaurant I ate at in 2014. My wife and I dined in on New Year's night, to be exact.
Even on a holiday, the food and service was excellent. I love the decor, specifically the wooden booths. They now have a few for outside dining on Front Street. The causal person might walk by, but this place is putting out perfectly executed dishes. Entrees are superb! If I wanted to enjoy excellent food with an ambient, relaxing feel inside, I'd make Wildfish Grill my first stop. Go by, grab some grub and say hello to my friends Jeannie, Bernard and Robin. They'd love to have ya! My how have I longed for a place to enjoy a great burger, tasty fries and awesome shakes in this part of the city.
CEO & Founder Kenney Moore has a mastered concept with these diners and Georgetown is very lucky to have one. The burgers are great. Make sure you get Andy's size! My wife loves the Shrimp Po' Boy. If you ever dine in and have Josh at the helm, let him know he and his crew are doing a fine job! Ah, yes... The morning should start with a friendly get-together at this restaurant. The breakfast here is heartwarming.
Go ahead, come right in. Grab a booth or a chair at the bar top. The waitresses will tend to you as if you're the only one there. Great service and nice atmosphere. Lunch is especially special because you get the right-at-home feeling with a southern cooked meal. Daily specials are always on top of the list. Check their Facebook page below for more! Every single time I come here, I feel as if I escaped the Georgetown rush and hustle and landed in Italian food heaven.
Eddy Chacon and his wife, Lisa, have a superb location on Front Street and resemble the fine dining on a small town street. It's such a rewarding treat. It's what you come to expect in a medium-sized, family-run eatery: great food, great service and great attention to food detail and preparation. The portions outweigh the pricing, friends. The dishes will definitely satisfy your hunger. So, come see Eddy, Lisa, Nic, and the staff and dine in style! This restaurant was one of the victims in the horrendous September 2013 Front Street fire. To see them reestablished and perfecting their "casual dining at its best" on the 900 block is truly a miracle.
It's a great place to hang out with friends and family, catch the football game or just wind down from a busy day. The food is right to the point. Awesome seafood, flavorful burgers and marvelous chicken wings. Those wings are the best in town. Come on in, check out the crew, enjoy the view and get your grub on! If Roz Wyndham's previous restaurant would have made you move to Pawleys Island to eat there everyday, then this one would make you ask to pay rent and never leave the building. Why? Because the dishes are can't miss!
The unique touch to meals you became accustomed to at Roz's Rice Mill Cafe is evident here and lives on proudly at the Screven Street location. No nonsense, here. Folks just come in, grab a menu and come up to the counter and place their order. My good friend Shawn will bring it right to you. She's also the winner of the 2013 Taste of Georgetown. Come on, can't get no better than that, friends. Check out the Facebook page for daily specials. Consistently putting out a great buffet on a daily basis, except Saturdays. Oh, I did mention buffet, right?
Whether it be breakfast and lunch during the week or a great gathering for Sunday lunch, Deborah Scott and her crew do not disappoint. The neighborhood meeting place welcomes locals and tourists alike. Come early, though, as chairs are sat in pretty quick. If I ever felt bad on a dreary day and wanted to be cheered up while being fed a great deli sandwich, I'd come here... over and over again.
Andy and Michele Giarratano always greet you with bright and beautiful smiles when you walk in the door. Their attention to detail in preparing awesome sandwiches is super! And with riverview seating, you can enjoy your lunch while relaxing in the sun! |
