Lee Prosser has a good thing going at Prosser's BBQ. A buffet that includes seafood along side their awesome pulled pork is not to be missed... or rushed.
The country feel inside warms you as walk in to be seated. And trust me, there are a lot of seats. Get there early, though, as those seats are filled quickly. The food is fresh and flavorful. Even have bottled sauces available for purchase. I always enjoy my visits here because my family feels like their family each and every single time. Are you craving for that family get together with great BBQ that never ends? Well, they do have to close, but it feels like it never ends.
Meg Lonon and her husband have taken Pawleys Island by storm with their BBQ joint. The tried-and-true BBQ Moe's known for is here. That's for sure. But, added are the oyster roasts and crawfish boils. Makes my mouth water just writing about it. They've recently updated and expanded their outside patio area and have bands play frequently. Again, when you show up here you're part of the family. Your stomach, ears and soul will wish it really did never end. Bill and Sandra Blake are always doing something with pork... and they're doing it well. They're smoking it!
I love the location, the dining room and the buffet setup. Corn on the cob, sausage, mac and cheese and yes, pulled pork! Oh, they have dessert, too. The waitresses are attentive to detail. If you're a fast drinker, ask for the "big" cup! Trust me. |
