Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce holds grand opening for Southern Comforts, Southern Dining & Seafood Shack

Chef and Owner Greg Metcalfe thought he had a day off. The official grand opening of Southern Comforts, Southern Dining & Seafood Shack in the Hammock Shops Village changed that.

For the good, may I add. 

More than 25 people braved the cold evening to join in the celebration hosted by the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce. Not only did the guests get to sample some tasty offerings, they also heard from Metcalfe his plans to open a second restaurant in the previous location. It'll be a tex-mex flavorful explosion. 

The restaurant featured today has a 120-seat event center that can host all of your holiday festivities. So, if you are a business trying to decide where to have your Christmas party, this is the spot!
