On April 24, a continuing tradition will be held to benefit a worthy cause. The Taste at Pawleys was the start of something small, but has blossomed into the great event it is.
In its eighth year, Tastes at Pawleys 2016 will benefit Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen on the Precious Blood of Christ campus. Opened with funds from the first Tastes at Pawleys, it has now served an incredible 100,000+ meals to people in need in our community since 2007. It is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays for lunch and on Saturday mornings for breakfast, with over 300 people receiving a meal each week.
Advance admission tickets are on sale now. The food festival will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at the Parish Life Center of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road.
The $4 adult tickets can be purchased during business hours at the church’s Parish Life Center. Children 12 and under with an adult are admitted free to this food festival.
